Nepeta x faassenii (Lamiaceae) is a hybrid perennial catmint of garden origin. It forms a low, spreading mound of aromatic gray-green foliage topped by spikes of small lavender-blue flowers over a long bloom season from late spring through fall. The habit is loose and billowing.

Catmint thrives in full sun on well-drained soil and is drought tolerant once established. Shearing after the first flush of bloom promotes reblooming. Cultivars include 'Walker's Low' (named Perennial Plant of the Year 2007, about 30 inches) and 'Junior Walker' (compact). The aromatic foliage is unappealing to deer and rabbits. The species is sterile and does not self-seed.
