Broadleaf stonecrop is a creeping, mat-forming succulent native to coastal regions of western North America from British Columbia to California. Growing 2-4 inches tall, it produces distinctive spoon-shaped (spatulate) leaves arranged in dense rosettes in shades of gray-green, often tinged with red or purple.

This species is extremely drought-tolerant and thrives in sandy or rocky, well-drained soil in full sun to light shade. Hardy to USDA zones 5-9, it is excellent for rock gardens, alpine troughs, and container gardens. The plant spreads slowly via offsets and requires no supplemental water once established.
