Sidalcea virgata is a mallow in the Malvaceae family native to the coastal and valley regions of Oregon and Washington. It grows as a clump-forming herbaceous perennial reaching 2-4 feet tall with divided leaves and upright racemes of pink to magenta flowers appearing in late spring to early summer.

This species prefers full sun to light shade and well-drained soil with moderate moisture. Hardy to USDA zones 6-9, it is moderately long-lived and spreads via self-seeding in appropriate conditions. The plant attracts bees and other pollinators and is useful for perennial borders and native gardens.
