Chenault coralberry is a deciduous shrub reaching 3-4 feet tall with slender branches and pale pink flowers followed by red and yellow berries that persist into winter. The plant is a hybrid of complex parentage with ornamental fruit as the major asset.

Chenault coralberry is hardy to zones 4-8 and thrives in full sun to part shade with well-drained soil and tolerates poor soils. It spreads via rhizomes and is useful for borders, massing, and wildlife habitat. The persistent, colorful fruit is the primary ornamental feature.
