Small inside-out flower (redwood ivy) is a native broadleaf perennial from southwestern Oregon to mid-California. It produces upright clusters of 25-30 white or lavender flowers with flat petals from spring through summer.

Small inside-out flower is hardy in zones 6a-8b and thrives in shaded woodland conditions. It is low-maintenance and excellent for groundcover in native plant communities. It spreads via shallow rhizomes in rich, moist forest soils.
