Speedwell is an introduced perennial from southeastern Russia, southern Ukraine, and the Caucasus reaching under 1 ft with a spreading growth habit. It produces flowers in blue, pink, or white (depending on cultivar) from spring through summer.

Veronica peduncularis is hardy in zones 5b-9b and grows in sun to part shade with moderate moisture and adaptable soil. Growth is medium-paced with low maintenance. It attracts butterflies and tolerates rabbits and deer.
