Bacterial Cane Blight

Cane tissue becomes dark and sunken, eventually girdling and killing shoots. This disease enters through wounds. Prune out affected canes and sterilize tools.

The following is suggested in the absence of specific research to control this problem. Remove and destroy infected stems.
