Data Coverage 1 of 6 dimensions
Legless fly larvae create sinuous, serpentine mines across the undersides of rose leaves, leaving irregular white blister-like tunnels with granular debris inside. Where mining cuts through veins, affected leaf portions fade in color. The characteristic white chain-like mines are easily visible on infested foliage, creating an unsightly appearance on plants.
Remove infested foliage and discard in sealed containers to prevent emergence. Maintain healthy, vigorous plants through watering and fertilization. Since damage is cosmetic and rarely weakens plants, chemical intervention is typically unnecessary. Focus on removing affected leaves.
